Yahoo.com are previewing their new Front Page layout.

As far as I am concerned less is more. All these years later google’s start page is pretty much the same (uncluttered). Its customisable (by the user) so could look however I wanted. But search is about getting to what you want not having 200 distractions.

Yahoo.com reminds me how AOL was back in 1990.
