And my Roth turns to Symantec

I have a nice clean install of windows XP Sp2 with all the latest updates.

I installed the latest version of Symantec Partition Magic 8

Did my Partitioning (so I can dual boot Windows Vista)

Installed Symantec Norton AntiVirus 2005 on the XP Partition

Everything runs fine for a month.

However I decided to uninstall Symantec’s Partition Magic (as I don’t need it, installed) I uninstall from add/remove programmes, then reboot.

Now My Norton AntiVirus 2005 is corrupt with multiple missing files.

One saving grace Symantec now has a web browser based uninstaller for damaged installs that cleanly removed the damaged AntiVirus.

Or the Files to manually uninstall are here

Now here is what annoys me.

I can get free AntiVirus Software.
I can get a Free Partitioning Software

But no I have to pay good money for this kind of grief.

Cheers Symantec.
