Update on the Western Digital Mybook RMA Procedure Friday, November 10th, 2006
I am blogging my experience of the dealing with the Western Digital RMA Procedure for returning a faulty Mybook external hard disk.

So this week I posted the broken drive back to Western Digital in Germany, at a Cost of £45 (Thats 29% of the total value of the goods).
And Western Digital have shipped me out a replacement unit all the way from America via UPS.
So all in all this has worked out exactly as it should, the only surprising thing to me is the cost to get the broken unit to Germany. The cost to ship it to a UK address would have been £12, so thats my only disappointment the cost of pan-european shipping.
