4 reasons why I am Giving up on iTunes on Windows Vista Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

I loves iTunes but I am sick and tired of my Windows Vista Laptop running like crap when iTunes is running.
1) I recently posted a screencast showing the high cpu usuage of iTunes when exiting.
http://www.colindiponio.com/2007/03/28/screencast-itunes-7-slow-when-exiting/
2) Next up is the 5gb worth of temp files (500 by number) iTunes thinks it’s cool to leave lying around in My Music Folder.
3) Legal MP4 video content from iTunes stutters and goes choppy during playback.
4) iTunes crashes on a weekly basis.
I am running iTunes on a very high specification XPS M1210 Laptop
Intel Core 2 Duo (2.0ghz)
2gig of Ram
7200rpm Hard Disk
What kind of super computer do I need to download a few podcasts and listen to music?
So for the moment iTunes can go live on a Windows XP machine until the performance picks up.
