Thanks for the comments.

Appreciation of design is a very subjective thing.  However itâ€™s growing on me. 

I think I can sum up the "not quite right bit". It the laptop casing, it looks more plastic than metal and the screen is terribly thin (great for design and weight, but I am concerned it might be flimsy).
