		<description>Hi Arthur

The C111TCi has a native screen resolution of 1024x768 at any other screen resolution the screen may not look correct and fuzzyness would be a issue.

When connected to an external monitor in most cases other resolutions can be selected.

So can you check your current resolution on the laptop screen is 1024x768.

If it is, has it always been like that?

If possible email a picture of how bad it is (colindiponio@gmail.com)

		<description>Good afternoon Colin
I was wondering if you can help me. I have an Acer Travelmate C111TCi and would welcome any advice and support you can give me for this. The problem with this machine is the screen always fuzzy. When I connect it to an external monitor it shows and works fine. If I touch the keyboard area the screen temporarily comes back to normal. Can you help?
Very best regards

		<description>Hi Geoff

Sorry to hear you are having a hard time.

Acer outsource some of their technical support to a 3rd party company. Sometimes this 3rd party run out of options.

In my case I wasnt going to accept no for an answer and decided to contact the UK Office of Acer.

In my notes from the time I have the phone number as 0208-283-3000 and the address of:

Head Office
Acer UK Limited
Acer House
Heathrow Boulevard III
282 Bath Road
West Drayton
Middlesex
UB7 0DQ

I never used the address, but it was the one I would have at the time.

I contact the number and asked for the Press Office or Public Relations dept made sure they knew I was really unhappy with the situation and intended to blog about it.

I eventually got my issue fixed. You can read all the gory details here

Good luck
