1st September 2007 was my 10th year anniversary running my own IT Consultancy business.

Prior to September 1997 I was employed as an in-house I.T Manager for a nationwide company.

The reason I left my full time employment was I  saw the tidal wave coming that was the Internet.

I love technology, I really do and getting to do what you love is a bonus.

I see my working career in thee acts, the first act is now over.

A lot of what I do is get paid to solve problems, so after 10 years I am pretty good at getting things fixed. I have formed my own methodologies for problem solving and at this point these are honed.

My skills aren’t restricted to Technology. I have somehow managed to run a business for 10 years and make a profit.

So on with the 2nd Act, I wish I had never used the ACT metaphor as something bad usually happens in the 2nd Act. Oh well.
