The funny things people put into Google to get here Friday, November 2nd, 2007
If you come to this Website from a Google search the phrase you used on Google gets stored in my web logs for me to chuckle over later.
Sometimes I read these search phrases and go “What….”
Some samples:-
“bbc iplayer windows server 2003″
Colin Says: Please step away from the Server. Quick someone change the Administrator password.
“t68 windows 5.0 mobile phone”
Colin Says: Sounds like Austin Powers needs a phone upgrade but a T68 is not a candidate for Windows Mobile 5.0.
“small computer consultants”
Colin Says: Who you calling small?
“dell vostro ugly”
Colin Says: I told you so. (Any site visitors called Gary who actually owns a Vostro, should write a review about it, Go on please, as you know I’m never buying one).
“blogging is boring”
Colin Says: Suddenly everybody is a critic.
“bsod dell vostro”
Colin Says: Nah Nah
“waste consultant”
Colin Says: Mmmm
On a semi serious note I am positive most people don’t know how to perform a search on Google properly and people get by using trial and error.
If you think about it searching is something that people don’t teach each other. Everyone just assumes you know how to do it.
When I get my screencasting hat back on I will do some Entry level “How to use Google’”.
