A common questions is how can I make a non wireless device wireless?
I use this Buffalo Ethernet Converter that bridges wired into wireless. I can plug in up to 4 RJ45 network devices as the buffalo acts as a hub.
This is really handy because only Laptops come with wireless network cards. Desktops and Servers don’t and I have a real need to be able to jump on my own wireless network without installing wireless hardware on each Desktop or Server I may be using.
The Buffalo connects wirelessly to a Vigor 2800VG router in another part of the building for access to the outside world. This network is essentially a 54g network. I will likely upgrade to a “N” wireless sometime in 2008.
