Dell Gets Tough - The D630 XFR Wednesday, March 5th, 2008
Some poor souls have to work in very hazardous conditions. Conditions of extreme cold and heat or worse war zones etc.
In those environments your average laptop shouldn’t really be expected to last that long.
So there is a small market for people that need “Really Tough” laptops.
Dell have branched off their Latitude D630 put it on steroids and now we have the D630 XFR
For once what I think about the form factor design is irrelevant, this laptops form factor is what makes it special.
The D630 is typically what I would issue to a user who needs a laptop and even the non XFR versions of the D630 seem pretty robust.
All in all I would say this looks pretty capable.
